Patanjala Yoga Kendra, established in 1993 in Rishikesh, serves as a premier destination for authentic Iyengar Yoga. Situated on the banks of the Ganges at Omkarananda Ganga Sadan, it is officially recognized by the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI). The center is led by Usha Devi, a long-time disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar, known for her disciplined and profound teaching style.

The center specializes in the Iyengar method, which emphasizes anatomical precision, structural alignment, and the innovative use of props like blocks, straps, and ropes. This approach ensures that yoga is accessible and safe for practitioners of all physical abilities. The curriculum includes daily Beginner and General classes, self-practice sessions, and intensive nine-day courses that delve into both asanas and Indian philosophy. By blending rigorous physical practice with the spiritual wisdom of the Yoga Sutras, Patanjala Yoga Kendra offers a transformative experience in the heart of the Yoga Capital.
